



It was updated to v9.0 at the recent Computex and is now available for Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10. The Advanced SystemCare Boost is said to be “the fastest way to optimize PC, improve system reliability and protect your digital life”. You can see from the screenshot above that the Advanced SystemCare scanner will allow you to choose whether to scan your system for viruses, scan your computer for software viruses, scan for privacy problems, scan for system problems, scan your drive for disk problems, scan for software problems and scan your USB devices. I looked at what the scanner did when it was running, and it looked pretty much like an antivirus scan. The scanner scans your computer for more than 200 different problems. This scanner comes with a button labeled, “Scan Now.” After clicking the button, the scanner opens and will be running in the background while you work. When I installed Advanced SystemCare on my desktop, I noticed a new component called the Advanced SystemCare Scanner. The next tab up is Clean, where you find the Advanced SystemCare options. There are five options available: Optimize system performance, tweak user settings, clear junk and drivers, optimize privacy settings and install Advanced SystemCare. To access the optimization and cleaning tools, you click on the link in the upper right corner. Here, you can see settings for Advanced SystemCare including cleaning options, performance enhancement and optimization. You can see the data on your PC and adjust settings by clicking on the menu icon on the left. The window interface is simple and easy to understand. Once you open Advanced SystemCare, you see the process tree on the left. Advanced SystemCare is also capable of offering a battery saving mode that can speed up system performance by reducing background activity and saving power by turning off unnecessary services and features. You can access Advanced SystemCare by navigating to Control Panel > System and Security > Advanced system settings > Run > Type “adb” (for Android) > Run and select the program from the list. It is installed by default in Microsoft Windows, meaning that your system will be safe as long as you have an internet connection, which it requires for the installation to complete.
